Wokingham Borough Health and Wellbeing Board
The Wokingham Borough Health and Wellbeing Board (the Board) is responsible for identifying the current and future health and social care needs of the local area through a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA).
The Board is also responsible for developing a Health and Wellbeing Strategy that sets out local social care and health priorities, providing a framework for the commissioning of local health and social care services and having oversight of outcomes/impact.
This dashboard is one way in which the Board will monitor outcomes against the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
Strategy into Action Priorities
The Board shares a Berkshire West Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2020-30 with Reading’s and West Berkshire’s Health and Wellbeing Boards.
The Board has also adopted a Strategy into Action which outlines key areas of focus under each of the five Berkshire West Strategy priorities. It also adds a sixth priority of Creating Physically Active Communities.
The dashboard shows a number of key indicators against each key area of focus under each priority.

Partnership Boards and Action Groups
There are nine Partnerships Boards/Action Groups that have a responsibility for delivering actions that will make a positive impact on health and wellbeing, relating to the Strategy into Action priorities and areas of focus.
Each Partnership Board/Action Group reports on progress to the Strategy into Action Steering group. They have provided commentary alongside each indicator in the dashboard describing actions that have happened over the previous 12 months to improve outcomes, actions to be taken over the next 12 months, and current or future challenges against progress.
